[It's a couple days after this. To The Hope, he'll be inviting a walk around the deck. Though...]

It looks like it might be quite cold out there. [Judging by the frost on the windows.]

[She'll agree to it! A walk sounds nice.... And cold will be a pretty new feeling. At least sharp cold will.]

I wonder where we are, that it's this cold.... Just remember not to catch me, if I trip.

I've no idea. Truth be told, the land I knew was vast, and yet I've not explored much of the world. Many people of my time didn't.

[There wasn't too much reason to travel beyond their cities. War, mostly. Merchants traveled, but he wasn't among those.]

Travel is a lot easier in my time....and I've technically been to a place colder than anywhere on Earth. I just didn't have the senses to feel it, then.

[He starts to lead the two of them outside. He listens to her, quiet for awhile. Clearly parsing the information. It seems like every time Ritsu speaks he has something more to learn.]

Where was that? And... you didn't have the senses... something about... how you've never been alive, nor dead?

Outer space. Think of it as, high above the sky.

[She is, at least, experienced with bridging the gap between ancient times and modern.]

Yes that's right. I didn't have a physical body the way you'd think of one, back then.

Really? How did you get up there? And... were you a spirit, then?

Hmm.... My world had wonders of technology that even Daedalos couldn't have imagined. One of those wonders was sort of like a ship, that could take people that high up. Another of those wonders, and much more advanced, is me. A spirit isn't a bad way to think of it.... Somewhere between that and like a naiad, but for machines.

[And then outside and she. Yelps. That is cold. She kind of tucks herself behind the Grecian warrior to try and escape the wind.]

[Flying ships and naiads for machines. Wonderous indeed.

He gently closes the door.]

On second thought, how about we simply explore inside?

[Close the door close the door close the door-- Hope drops to her knees, shivering, once it's closed. Physical sensations are still overwhelming. Give her a moment.]

[He turns around immediately, hand coming out on reflex. Granted, there's no real danger of him touching her, even as he drops to a knee.]
